Hormones shape how you feel, think, and move through the world. When they shift, so can your sense of self. Through personalized therapies (HRT/BHRT) for men and women, including bioidentical hormones like testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone, we help address what’s out of sync. By evaluating potential causes of fatigue, mood swings, low libido, or metabolic slowdown, we support your return to clarity, energy, and emotional ease, so you can move through life grounded, focused, and fully you.

Hormonal symptoms don't always mean hormone deficiency, and higher hormone levels don't necessarily mean better health. At Fountain, we evaluate your symptoms, medical history, and relevant laboratory findings to identify when treatment may help. Whether addressing testosterone deficiency or menopause-related changes, our clinicians consider the appropriate therapy, dosage, potential risks, and your longer-term health needs. Follow-up allows us to assess both laboratory results and how you actually feel, adjusting care as your needs change.

Your questions about our Hormonal Health programs answered.
Hormonal changes can contribute to symptoms such as low libido, hot flashes, night sweats, changes in menstrual patterns, fatigue, reduced muscle or strength, changes in body composition, sleep disruption, mood changes, and difficulty concentrating. However, these symptoms are not specific to hormones. Sleep disorders, medications, mental health, thyroid conditions, nutritional issues, metabolic health, and other medical conditions can produce many of the same complaints. Fountain looks at both your symptoms and the broader clinical picture before recommending hormone treatment.
In many situations, laboratory testing is an important part of understanding your hormonal health, but the appropriate testing depends on the treatment being considered. Fountain combines laboratory results with your symptoms, medical history, medications, age, reproductive or menopause status, and treatment goals. The purpose of testing is not simply to find a number to increase or decrease. It is to understand what may be contributing to how you feel and whether treatment is appropriate.
Different hormonal treatments address very different clinical situations. For example, testosterone therapy and enclomiphene affect testosterone through different mechanisms, while estrogen and progesterone may be used as part of care during perimenopause or menopause. Your clinician considers your symptoms, laboratory results, medical history, fertility goals, medications, and other health factors before recommending a treatment plan.
No. Higher hormone levels do not automatically mean better health or better symptoms. The goal is to use the appropriate treatment to create meaningful improvement while monitoring safety and avoiding unnecessary exposure. Fountain follows both laboratory results and how you are actually feeling and functioning. A better laboratory number without meaningful clinical improvement may be a reason to reconsider the plan.
Monitoring depends on the specific hormone and treatment being used. Your clinician may follow symptoms, laboratory values, side effects, blood pressure, blood counts, menstrual or menopause symptoms, fertility considerations, or other health markers depending on your treatment. Hormonal needs can also change over time, so the plan should be reassessed rather than treated as a prescription that never changes.
Some hormonal treatments can significantly affect fertility, which is why reproductive goals should be discussed before starting therapy. For example, external testosterone can suppress sperm production, while other approaches may be considered when preserving fertility is important. If having children now or in the future matters to you, Fountain incorporates that into the treatment decision from the beginning.
