Your questions about our Longevity & Anti-Aging programs answered.
Longevity care is about supporting healthspan, meaning the years you remain healthy, functional, cognitively sharp, physically capable, and independent. Rather than promising to “reverse aging,” Fountain focuses on factors that can meaningfully influence health over time, including metabolic health, body composition, cardiovascular risk, sleep, nutrition, physical function, hormones when relevant, and other measurable areas of health. Medications and compounded therapies are potential tools within that larger strategy.
It starts with what you are actually trying to improve. Someone focused on energy and recovery may need a very different approach from someone focused on skin health, body composition, metabolic health, or maintaining physical function with age. Fountain reviews your health history, medications, symptoms, goals, and relevant testing before recommending treatment. We do not assume that everyone interested in longevity needs the same combination of therapies.
No. Exercise, nutrition, sleep, maintaining muscle, metabolic health, and cardiovascular health remain some of the most important foundations of healthy aging. Compounded treatments may be considered when there is a reasonable clinical goal, but they should complement those foundations rather than replace them. Fountain’s approach is to build the larger health plan first and determine where additional therapies may add value.
That depends on why the treatment was prescribed. Progress might involve changes in a specific symptom, body composition, recovery, physical function, laboratory marker, skin concern, or another clearly defined goal. Fountain establishes what we are trying to improve and then follows that over time. A therapy is not considered successful simply because someone has been taking it for several months.
There is no universal timeline because the treatments and goals within longevity care are very different. Some changes may be noticed relatively quickly, while changes involving body composition, skin, physical performance, or broader health markers may take considerably longer. Your clinician will help set realistic expectations based on the treatment being used and the outcome you are trying to achieve.
The evidence varies considerably from one therapy to another. Some treatments have substantial clinical data for specific medical uses, while others are supported by earlier-stage or more limited human research. Fountain considers the quality of the evidence, potential benefit, safety, and your individual health before recommending treatment. We do not treat biological plausibility or early research as proof that a therapy will slow or reverse aging.
